Privacy Policy
This policy describes how we handle information when you use the marketing website for Landlord (the “Site”). It is meant for visitors and waitlist signups. The Landlord game app may have its own privacy practices; we will publish those with the app when it ships.
1. What we collect on this Site

Waitlist form: If you submit the email form on the Wishlist page, we receive the fields you enter
(typically email and optional name) through our form provider (e.g. Formspree, Mailchimp, or similar — whichever URL is
configured in
website/js/config.js). - Technical data: Your browser and our hosting provider may automatically process standard server logs (such as IP address, approximate region, user agent, and timestamps) for security and reliability. What exactly is logged depends on where you host the Site (e.g. Netlify, GitHub Pages, Cloudflare).
2. Cookies and analytics
This static template does not set analytics cookies by default. If you add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar, you should update this section and, where required, show a cookie banner and obtain consent.
3. How we use information
- To send occasional emails about Landlord’s launch and major updates (waitlist only — you can unsubscribe per your provider’s links).
- To respond to support requests if you email us.
- To protect the Site from abuse and to comply with law.
4. Third-party services
The waitlist form posts to a third party you configure (for example Formspree). That provider processes submissions on their infrastructure. Review their privacy policy when you connect a service. Google Play is operated by Google; wishlist clicks leave our Site for Google’s policies.
5. Retention
We keep waitlist data only as long as needed for launch communication or as required by law. Exact retention follows your form or email provider’s settings.
6. Children
Landlord is aimed at a broad audience, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this Site. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on your country (including Nigeria NDPR, UK GDPR, EU GDPR, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, or
delete your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us using the email you publish in
CONTACT_EMAIL in website/js/config.js.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
